1. Introduction

NovosEdge Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), operating the AgriDoot brand and the Vyom Engine platform, is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable law. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and, for business accounts, organization details.
• Farm data: field boundaries (geolocation polygons), crop type, soil type, and sowing dates you provide.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. We never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank account details ourselves.
• Usage data: login activity, API access logs (including API key usage, request timestamps, and endpoint accessed), and device/browser information.

3. How we use your information

• To provide satellite-derived farm indices, weather data, and advisory services;
• To process payments, generate invoices, and manage subscriptions and API billing;
• To send service-related, billing-related, and (with your consent) marketing communications;
• To maintain the security of the Service and investigate suspected misuse.

4. How we share your information

We share personal data only with:

• Razorpay, for payment processing;
• Copernicus / European Space Agency data services, to the extent your farm boundary is used to query publicly available satellite imagery covering that location;
• Cloud infrastructure and storage providers (including Wasabi object storage), acting solely as data processors on our instructions;
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, only where legally compelled to do so.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may withdraw previously given consent, subject to our legitimate need to retain certain records (such as billing and invoicing records) as required by applicable tax and accounting law. 6. Data retention

We retain your account and farm data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal and tax record-keeping obligations, unless you request earlier erasure and no legal obligation requires us to retain it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. API secrets are never stored in plaintext — only a one-way cryptographic hash is retained, and the plaintext secret is shown to you exactly once, at the time it is generated. Access to your account data is restricted to what is necessary to operate the Service.

8. Children's data

The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email or an in-app notice.
